The Rainbow Center is committed to providing individual, group and family counseling for GLBT and questioning people and their families.

- a family member of someone who is GLBTQ?
- gay, or just questioning?
- wondering how you can integrate being gay with all other aspects of your life?
- considering coming out to your family and friends?
We have different types of counseling available:
Individual and group counseling is offered through Jewish Family and Career Services. Rabbi Joshua Lesser of Congregation Bet Haverim provides pastoral counseling. (Bet Haverim is a Reconstructionist Synagogue founded by and for Lesbians and Gay men, embracing all Jews and loved ones).
Or visit our Ask the Rabbi page an informal dialogue page with Rabbi Josh (your privacy is always respected).
Or, if you prefer, we can connect you to many other appropriate GLBT & questioning friendly agencies, clubs and organizations. If you think you would like counseling or if you just feel the need to talk to a friend,
The Rainbow Center will arrange for you to meet appropriate persons.
Some of the services offered by
The Rainbow Center
are free; others are provided on a sliding scale basis. For those services on a sliding scale, The Rainbow Center will help those who cannot pay. The important thing to remember is that we exist to meet your needs.
