Peer Support Groups

At The Rainbow Center, our goal is to help youth discover that you do not have to choose between your sexual or gender identity and your faith/religion.  From a culturally Jewish perspective, youth meet and support each other.

Youth Rainbow Teams

Are you between the ages of 12 – 18? Interested in helping a new organization, based on Jewish values, that will help teens and young adults? Come be a part of The Rainbow Center and participate in 'Tikkun Olam' (the repair of the world).

The Rainbow Center provides a range of services for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people, those questioning their sexuality, and their families. You do not have to be GLBTQ or Jewish to help. The Youth Rainbow Teams are important because teens and young adults are our future and your opinions are valuable.

Your participation will help us shape:
  • what is needed in the youth and young adult populations
  • a social component that would be fun and useful
  • outreach material and text that would appeal to individuals your age
  • a speakers' bureau for diversity training
